The shield and passes
Why aren’t my apps being paused?
The shield needs Screen Time permission. In Do-ri-Do, go to Focus, open Protection and tap Give permission. If you removed it, grant it again in iOS Settings, under Screen Time, in the apps with access.
What is a pass?
A pass lets you through the shield without waiting. You choose how many you get a day in Protection, and they come back every morning.
Can I still open an app when I need it?
Always. Tap Go in anyway: without passes left it just takes a few seconds. Do-ri-Do is a pause, not a lock.
Can Do-ri-Do see which apps I use?
No. Apple’s Screen Time handles your apps on your device and only hands Do-ri-Do a nameless code. Even with permission granted, we couldn’t know.
Tasks, habits and focus
What’s the difference between a habit and a program?
A habit repeats with no end and keeps a streak. A program has an end, like ten days or until the 15th, and is measured against its own plan. You don’t pick one: it follows from what you write.
Can I capture things by voice?
Yes. Ask Siri to capture something in Do-ri-Do, or dictate on your Apple Watch. Say tomorrow at 5 and it lands with its day and time.
Can I listen to my own music while I focus?
Yes. With Mix with my music turned on, if something is already playing, the ambience slides in underneath instead of cutting it off.
Your data and iCloud
Who can see my data?
No one but you. It lives on your devices and in your iCloud; Do-ri-Do has no servers and no analytics.
How do I get my things on iPad?
Sign in with the same iCloud account on both, and everything travels on its own. It goes from your iCloud to your iCloud, never through a server of ours.
How do I export or erase my data?
In Do-ri-Do, go to Settings → Data & privacy. Export my data gives you a file you can open and read. Erase all my data removes everything, on this device and in your iCloud.
Purchases
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. In Do-ri-Do, go to Settings → Subscription and tap Restore purchases.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Apple manages it. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Do-ri-Do. You can also manage your subscriptions here.
How do I ask for a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple under their own rules. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Widgets and Apple Watch
How do I add a widget?
Press and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen until the icons wobble. Tap Edit, then Add Widget, search for Do-ri-Do, pick the size and drop it where you want it.
What does the Apple Watch app do?
For free, it captures by voice and shows you your day. With Pro you can also check things off, focus with the Digital Crown and keep your habits, and your watch face tells you what’s next.
What do I need?
An iPhone with iOS 18 or later, or an iPad with iPadOS 18 or later. The Apple Watch app needs watchOS 26.
